Jake is an experienced Chief Officer from the world of exploration shipping, having sailed across some of the planet’s most remote waters on a variety of interesting projects.

Paul comes from a fishing background having worked the North Sea for the most part of his career. Better known as Slim, Paul brings a wealth of boat handling experience and has been with Red Lion Marine since the start.

Joining in 2025, Robbie brings a lifetime of fishing experience to the team, having sailed (and complained) in some some of the harshest environments the North Sea has to offer.

Ian joined RLM fulltime in Summer 2024 having been on call for the company previously. After a long role with the RNLI as Fleet Mechanic, he's ideally suited to fit in all engine compartments onboard our fleet.

Steve is our main member of the deck team, backed by a voluntary career in both HM Coastguard and a current serving RNLI Volunteer. He only sits down on the job after 2am...
